DAY 01. ROME.
arrival and transfer to the hotel on
their own . day at disposal. Overnight stay..
DAY 02. ROME.
Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at 07.45
for morning tour visiting: Moses’ Fountain, the Trevi Fountain, the
Pantheon, (except on Monday), Piazza Navona, St. Peter Basilica Afternoon at leisure and overnight stay.
DAY 03 . ROME,
NAPLES, POMPEII, SORRENTO.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at
06.45 am by deluxe motor coach for Naples, brief panoramic visit.
Continue to Pompeii, lunch and visit of the excavations of this Roman
town destroyed by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius in 79 A.D.
Continue by coastal road to Sorrento. Dinner and overnight stay in
hotel.
DAY 04.
SORRENTO, CAPRI, SORRENTO.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure at
8.30 by steamer for the famous Isle of Capri. On arrival at the port of
Marina Grande, departure (weather and sea conditions permitting) for a
trip to the “Blue Grotto”. Lunch in Capri. Afternoon at leisure. In the
afternoon, return to Sorrento, dinner and overnight.
DAY 05.
SORRENTO, ROME.
Breakfast at hotel. Morning free for
leisure. Lunch and afternoon return by bus to Rome.
Overnight.
DAY 06. ROME,
FLORENCE.
Breakfast at hotel and Departure at
06.45 am by de deluxe motor coach for Florence.
City tour visiting the Duomo, the Baptistery with the golden
doors by Ghiberti, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Academy of Fine Arts with
the original statue of “David” by Michelangelo, Piazza della Signoria.
Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon free for optional activities.
Overnight stay.
DAY 07.
FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel.Day at leisure.
(Pisa or Siena / San Gimignano optional) overnight stay.
DAY 08.
FLORENCE, VENICE.
Breakfast at hotel and morning free for
personal activities. At an indicated hour, transfer to the train station
on their own for departure by train for Venice. Overnight stay.
DAY 09.
VENICE.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning walking
tour (meeting point at 9.00 San Marco square, tourism office, museum
Correr) visiting: the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s
square and Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
DAY 10.
VENICE.
Breakfast at the hotel. End of
services.
Due to the frequent change of transportation and the type of
transportation used, it is obligatory to bring only one piece of hand
luggage per person for excursions to the South of Italy, as the baggage
handling can provoke several difficulties and often maybe lost or
damage. We are not responsible for those passengers who do not follow
these baggage restrictions. In the eventuality of extra baggage
clienights will be charged directly. |
