Day 01 – (Friday or Sunday) Rome
Arrival on their own at the Hotel
and overnight.
Day 02 – (Saturday or Monday) Rome / Assisi / Siena /
Florence
Departure at 7.30 am from hotel
Diana by deluxe motor coach to Assisi. Stop in this splendid and mystic
town for a panoramic visit of its Basilica and the church of St. Maria
degli Angeli. Departure from Assisi on the “Autostrada del Solo”
to Siena. This gothic city is constructed on three
hills in the heart of Tuscany. This monumental and medieval city is
encircled by its ancient walls and is famous for its splendid square "
Piazza del Campo ", designed in the shape of a shell . Here, every year
the famous "Palio" takes place. See also the elegant Palace and the
Cathedral. In the afternoon proceed on to Florence. Dinner and overnight
at the Hotel.
Day 03 – (Sunday or Tuesday) Florence (Pisa optional)
Breakfast at the Hotel and
morning city tour along which we appreciate the artistic beauty of
Florence with its Dome by Brunelleschi, the Bell tower by Giotto
and the Baptistery. The sightseeing tour continues through Piazza
della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio and finally the church of Santa
Croce. In the afternoon possibility to make an optional excursion to
Pisa. This quiet and graceful town shows signs of its past and its
greatness through the famous Piazza del Campo, better known as the "
Square of Miracles " where we find the Cathedral, the Leaning Tower (a
Romanic bell tower of 58mt) and the Baptistery. Dinner and overnight
at the Hotel.
Day 04 – (Monday or Wednesday) Florence / Padua /
Venice
Breakfast at Hotel and morning at
leisure. Possibility to make an optional visit of Florence’s museums. In
the afternoon departure to Padua for a short visit of the Basilica of
St. Anthony. Continue to Venice, the city of gondolas. Dinner and
overnight at the Hotel.
Day 05 – (Tuesday or Thursday) Venice
Breakfast at the Hotel and visit of
this mysterious city built on 177 islands, 150 canals and 400 bridges.
The sightseeing includes the panoramic of St. Mark's square and the
Doge's Palace (external). During the morning the group will stop
in one of the famous shops of Murano glasses. Afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at the Hotel
Day 06 – (Wednesday or Friday) Venice / San Marino /
Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel and departure
by private motorcoach from Piazzale Roma to San Marino. One of the
smallest states in the world that still has its own currency, stamps
and preserves its political system since over nine centuries. In the
afternoon arrival to Rome: the Eternal city. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07 – (Thursday or Saturday) Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel. Departure
from the Hotel at hrs 08:00 am to visit this famous eternal city and its
artistic beauties like: Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Castel Sant'Angelo
and the San Peter square with its basilic. Afternoon at leisure. During
your stay in Rome will be possible to book optional visits to Sixtine
chapel and Vatican Museums, Catacombs and Basilicas. Overnight at the
Hotel.
Day 08 – (Friday or Sunday) Rome / Naples / Pompeii
/ Sorrento
Breakfast at the Hotel. After
leaving Rome, the coach will take the " Sun Route " motorway, driving
through the regions of Lazio and Campania, with a view of the Abbey of
Montecassino. Upon arrival in Naples there will be a short panoramic
city tour : Mergellina, Castel dell'Ovo Plebiscito Square, the Royal
Palace, the Maschio Angioino and the port. Lunch in a restaurant on our
way to Pompeii and then visit of the excavations of the famous Roman
city , destroyed by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Leaving Pompeii
and driving along the Sorrentine coastal, arrival in Sorrento. Dinner
and overnight in Hotel.
Day 09 – (Saturday or Monsay) Sorrento
Day at leisure in Sorrento. Half
board at the Hotel.
Day 10 – (Sunday or Tuesday) Sorrento / Capri
After breakfast we board the boat
for the Island of Capri., where weather and sea conditions permitting we
will visit the Blue Grotto in small rowing boats. Lunch in restaurant
and free time for personal activities. In the afternoon transfer to
Hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11 – (Monday or Wednesday) Capri / Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning at
leisure and in the afternoon transfer to Rome. Arrival at Hotel and
overnight.
Day 12 – (Tuesday or Thursday) Rome
Breakfast at the Hotel. End of
services.
