Day 01 –
Milan – Genova
At 08:30 am departure from Hotel NH Touring to Genoa.
Seaport, one of the largest of the South Europe, the first in
Italy; 6th city of the country, this town has an important history,
as a Maritime Republic. Its historical centre has grown
around the dock, is full of narrow and characteristic streets
and has a medieval origin. Visit. Visit of the modern zone
of “Ancient Port”, restored for the 500 years of America discovery
by Cristopher Columbus. Here we find the Aquarius,
the biggest in Europe. Optional visit. Free time for lunch.

Day 02 –
Genoa – Sanremo – Genoa
Breakfast at the hotel and outgoing to Sanremo. Sanremo,
defined as the city of flowers and sun, is known all over the
world for the Italian Song Festival. Its economy is based
on flower farming and tourism. This little town of Riviera of
Ponente (West Riviera), offer many possibilities of entertainment
like beaches and promenades. Its famous Casino is
situated on the top of the most elegant street of the town,
where you can find shops of clothes and many others. Free
time for lunch. In the afternoon return to Genova along the
Rivera of Ponente and passing through characteristic villages.

Day 03 –
Genoa - Portovenere – Cinque Terre – Genoa
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Portovenere, a fishermen
village located at the end of La Spezia Gulf. Visit.
Ferry to Cinque Terre (if the atmospheric conditions doesn’t
permit the boarding, the visit will be done with a panoramic
itinerary in minibus.) Heritage of the Unesco, these 5 fishermen
villages, symbolize a group unique in the World for its
beautiful landscape and the medieval style of their buildings.
Free time for lunch. In the afternoon coming back to to
Genoa. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 04 –
Genoa-Pisa-Volterra-Siena
Breakfast. Then, departure from Genoa to Tuscany. Arrival
in Pisa and visit. Piazza dei Miracoli (Miracles square) that
includes the famous Leaned Tower, the Baptistery and the
Cathedral. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, Volterra.
Located on the top of a hill, this town is famous all over the
world both for its medieval character and for the manufacturing
of alabaster. You’ll se the main square, the town
hall, the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Civic Museum.
Leaving to Siena. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 05 –
Siena-Pienza-Montepulciano-Montalcino-Siena
Breakfast. Departure to Pienza, situated on the top of a hill
like Volterra. Art and food make it a compulsory place to stop
on that road. Visit of Piazza Pio the II, Renaissance style, that
includes many palaces, like Palazzo Piccolomini, Comunale
and Borgia. Walk close to the old wall. Wonderful view over
the entire valley that ends with the Mont Amiata. Free time
for lunch. Departure to Montepulciano. Marvellous XVI century
artwork, located 750 m. over the sea level, near Valley
Chiana, it had a core role in the Roman and Etruscan age.
Probably you know it because of its production of “Nobile”,
a tasty red wine. Then, on the road to Montalcino, characterised
by a great fortress which surrounds it among the
three valley: Asso, Aria and Orcia. Visit and back to Siena.

Day 06 –
Siena – San Gimignano – Siena
Breakfast. Departure to San Gimignano, known as the “tower
city”. Visit of Porta San Giovanni, Piazza della Cisterna,
Palace del Popolo, Civical Museum and Sant’Agostino.
Free time for lunch. Then, way back to Siena. Rest of the day
to visit the city and to have free time. Siena is surrounded by
Chianti woods and hills and is located in the centre of this
large and attractive valley. Probably Siena’s notoriety is due
to the celebration of the Palio, a horse race among all the
district areas of the town, called “contrade”. Therefore, a
great mixture of culture, history and healthy food. Overnight
in the hotel.

Day 07 –
Siena-Strada Del Chianti-Lucca-Genova
Breakfast. In the morning route through the so called
“Strada del Chianti”, one of the most important wines produced
in Italy. A short trip around valley, hills, small villages
of Medieval origin, towers, vineyards and farms. Arrival in
Castellina in Chianti, old Medieval city surrounded by walls.
Then, Greve in Chianti, with an asymmetric square rich of
galleries and balconies. Free time for lunch. Departure to
Lucca, an other city inside an old wall, perfectly conserved.
Visit of Piazza Napoleone, Piazza Anfiteatro, the Cathedral,
Piazza San Martino. Last trip to come back to Genoa.
