This is an interesting option for those who would like to have some days at
leisure to explore Amalfi and Capri by your own and also some guided tours ( on
day 1 ). The below tour include
a group tour on the day 1 with lunch and guided tours as per the below schedule,
then you will have some days at leisure.

Pompeii

1st DAY: Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Amalfi
You will be picked up from your hotel in Rome at 6.45
Am. Leaving the city of Rome and driving along the “sun route” motorway,
we will cross the regions of Lazio and Campania. Upon arrival in
Naples, there will be short brief panoramic tour after which we
will continue to Pompeii. After lunch visit of the
famous excavations of this roman city destroyed by the eruption of mount
Vesuvius in the year 79 a.d. Next we will drive along the sorrentine
coastline to Amalfi. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
2nd DAY: Amalfi
Breakfast in hotel. Full day at leisure to enjoy the panorama, the
famous promenade and the perfumes of this beautiful summer resort. Visit
on your own the Cathedral of 900 dc with its splendid
Bell Tower of 1180 overlooks this small town. In the centre of the
Piazza del Duomo the beautiful Fontana del Popolo a
work of art of 1700. Walk through the old quarter with its picturesque
shops. Dinner and overnight in hotel
3nd DAY: Amalfi, Sorrento,
Capri
Breakfast in hotel. Morning at leisure. In the late morning (around 11.30
Am ) transfer to Sorrento from where we’ll reach Capri. Arrival and
overnight in hotel.
4th DAY: Capri
Breakfast in hotel. Day at leisure in Capri to further explore the
celebrated “Piazzetta”, to admire the Blue Grotto, Villa S. Michele and
the Faraglioni. Overnight in hotel.
5th DAY: Capri, Rome
Breakfast in hotel. Morning at leisure in Capri. Around 3 PM embark to Naples from where you’ll start
the return trip to Rome, where
will arrive around 9PM.
